Angkor Piezoelectric Field: The Mesh Network Effect

PIEZOELECTRIC FIELD CALCULATION AT ANGKOR

SUBSTRATE PROPERTIES:

Angkor sandstone: quartz-bearing (confirmed, Uchida et al.) Piezo coefficient: g_eff ≈ 1.5e-3 V·m/N

(lower than Giza limestone 2.5e-3, random grain orient.)

Foundation: saturated sand, Vs ≈ 200-300m/s Acoustic impedance: Z = 2200 × 250 = 550,000 kg/(m²·s)

SINGLE TEMPLE AT 500m (typical residential distance):

P_acoustic = 200 W entering ground
I(500m) = P / (2π × r × d)
= 200 / (2π × 500 × 7) = 9.1e-3 W/m²
σ = sqrt(2 × I × Z) = sqrt(2 × 9.1e-3 × 550000)
= sqrt(10,010) = 100 Pa
E = g_eff × σ = 1.5e-3 × 100 = 0.15V/m

Single temple: 0.15V/m at 500m — BELOW tACS threshold.

THE MESH NETWORK EFFECT:

Within the civic-ceremonial center, a resident is within 500m of MULTIPLE temples simultaneously.

With 4 overlapping temple fields:

Incoherent: E = sqrt(4) × 0.15 = 0.30V/m
Coherent: E = 4 × 0.15 = 0.60V/m

0.30-0.60 V/m: IN THE tACS ENTRAINMENT RANGE (0.3-0.5)

THE MOAT RING GEOMETRY:

The 200m-wide moat ENCIRCLES the temple completely. Anyone inside the moat ring receives the field from ALL directions simultaneously. The geometry is optimal. The moat is not a defense. It is a COUPLING ELEMENT.

VESTIBULAR PATHWAY:

At 500m from temple (200 W):

v_p ≈ 5.7 μm/s
a = 2πf × v_p = 62.83 × 5.7e-6 = 3.6e-4m/s²

Single temple: 3x below sub-conscious threshold. With 4 overlapping: 1.4e-3m/s² — AT THRESHOLD.

SKIN DEPTH AT 10 Hz:

Saturated sand (σ≈0.03 S/m): δ = 920m — transparent
Human tissue (σ=0.3 S/m): δ = 290m — transparent

Same physics as Giza: the field penetrates without loss.

MONSOON AMPLIFICATION:

During peak monsoon, water flow doubles or triples. Acoustic power scales linearly with hydraulic power. Peak entrainment field: 0.6-1.2V/m — well ABOVE threshold.
