Göbekli Tepe Acoustic Analysis: Enclosure Resonance at Alpha Frequencies

ARCHAEOACOUSTIC EVIDENCE (DOCUMENTED)

SB Research Group conducted archaeoacoustic analysis of Enclosure D at Göbekli Tepe:

  1. Struck central Pillar 18 by hand
  2. Recorded subsoil vibrations
  3. Recorded magnetic field changes
  4. Recorded sound propagation

RESULT: Göbekli Tepe displays "similar archaeoacoustic characteristics to other recognized sacred sites." Conclusion: populations "deliberately chose this location based on acoustic properties." This is PUBLISHED RESEARCH. Not our theory.

ENCLOSURE RESONANCE CALCULATION:

Circular chamber: f = v × j_01 / (π × D)

j_01 = 2.405 (Bessel function fundamental)
v = 340m/s

Diameter | Resonance | Brainwave Band

10m | 26.0Hz | Low beta 15m | 17.3Hz | Beta

20m | 13.0 Hz | ALPHA

25m | 10.4 Hz | ALPHA

30m | 8.67 Hz | ALPHA-THETA

The larger enclosures (20-30m) resonate at 8.7-13.0Hz: SQUARELY IN THE ALPHA BAND.

CRITICAL OBSERVATION:

Enclosures grew LARGER over time. Earlier = smaller = higher frequency (beta). Later = larger = lower frequency (alpha). The builders were TUNING the frequency DOWN toward the optimal entrainment band through trial and error over centuries.

Alpha (8-13Hz): meditation, relaxation, social bonding, reduced anxiety, cooperative behavior. This is the state that produces superorganism behavior.

PIEZOELECTRIC COUPLING:

Pillars carved FROM bedrock, erected ON bedrock. When struck or vibrated (by voice, drums, or ritual activity), acoustic energy couples directly into the limestone substrate. Enclosure walls create resonant cavity. At this scale (10-30m) entrainment is LOCAL — works for people INSIDE the enclosure only. This is a ROOM-SCALE prototype, not a population-scale system like the pyramids.
