Inter-Brain Bandwidth: The Neural Network of a Civilization

INTER-BRAIN INFORMATION TRANSFER CALCULATION

SINGLE BRAIN CAPACITY:

Conscious output: ~10 bits/sec (Caltech 2024)
Sensory input: ~10^9 bits/sec
Internal processing: ~10^13-10^16 FLOP/s
The brain is a massively parallel processor with
a very narrow conscious output bottleneck.

INTER-BRAIN COUPLING VIA PHASE-LOCKING:

Carrier frequency: 7-14Hz (theta/alpha)
Entrainment bandwidth: ~1-3Hz
Information per cycle: ~1-10 bits
(phase state, amplitude modulation)
Rate per brain-pair: ~7-70 bits/sec
This is LOW compared to intra-brain connections
(~10^14 synapses at ~1-100Hz = enormous bandwidth).
But it is NOT zero.

FOR 500,000 PHASE-LOCKED BRAINS (Giza):

Each brain coupled to the common field
Total inter-brain information flow:
500,000 x 7-70 = 3.5M to 35M bits/sec
Compare:
Early ARPANET (1969): 50 kbps = 50,000 bits/sec
1990s dial-up internet: 56 kbps
The pyramid network had bandwidth comparable to
the early internet, 4,500 years earlier.

BUT BANDWIDTH IS NOT THE KEY METRIC. COHERENCE IS.

The internet sends DIFFERENT data to each node. The pyramid sends the SAME PHASE to all nodes. This is not a data network. It is a SYNCHRONIZATION network. Like a clock distribution system in a modern CPU — not carrying data, but ensuring all components operate in lockstep.

The value is not in the bits transferred. The value is in the COORDINATION enabled.
