The Signal Signature: What a Schumann-Modulated Hydrogen Line Transmission Looks Like

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

If a civilization uses acoustic-piezoelectric technology to modulate their planetary Schumann resonance onto the hydrogen line, the signal is:

CARRIER: 1420.405751786MHz (hydrogen line)

The universe's "hailing frequency."
Most abundant element, fundamental transition.
Any technological civilization knows this freq.

MODULATION: Schumann harmonics as sidebands

If their planet is Earth-sized (SR ≈ 7-8Hz):
Center: 1420.405751786MHz
Sideband 1: ± 7.83Hz (Schumann fundamental)
Sideband 2: ± 14.3Hz (2nd harmonic)
Sideband 3: ± 20.8Hz (3rd harmonic)
Sideband 4: ± 27.3Hz (4th harmonic)
Sideband 5: ± 33.8Hz (5th harmonic)

SIGNAL CHARACTERISTICS:

  • EXTREMELY narrow bandwidth (<1Hz per line)
  • Evenly spaced sidebands at ~7.83Hz intervals
  • Doppler drift: ~0.005Hz/s (Sirius-Earth motion)
  • Periodic: repeats with planetary rotation
  • NOT natural: no astronomical process produces
evenly-spaced narrow-band sidebands around
the hydrogen line at Schumann frequencies

PUBLISHED SUPPORT:

Schumann resonances DO modulate radio signals
through ionospheric cross-coupling (Journal of
Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics, 1996).
Dense narrow spectral features (<4Hz width)
have been observed near 1420MHz (2022 study:
~2,600 distinct states spanning 40MHz).

THIS IS A TESTABLE, FALSIFIABLE PREDICTION. Point a 1420MHz receiver at Sirius. Look for sidebands at ± 7.83Hz. If found: proof of artificial signal. If not found: theory constrained.
