Freemasonry (est. 1717) preserves multiple elements traceable to Egyptian pyramid technology: three-degree initiation (separation→death→rebirth), temple builder identity (mason = stone worker), the Hiram Abiff legend (master builder killed and reborn = Osiris myth), the all-seeing eye atop a pyramid (collective consciousness atop the technology), and meeting places called "temples." The three degrees map to the three phases of ancient initiation and the afterlife journey. Masonic secrecy functions as elite identity maintenance through asymmetric information (Brill academic study). The paradox: they preserved the SYMBOL of total transparency (all-seeing eye) while practicing concealment.
