ScanPyramids Discovers the Big Void — 30-Meter Hidden Chamber
Detailed Account
The ScanPyramids international collaboration, using three independent muon tomography techniques (nuclear emulsions from Nagoya University, scintillator hodoscopes from KEK, and gas detectors from CEA), confirms a previously unknown void inside the Great Pyramid at least 30 meters long, located directly above the Grand Gallery. Published in Nature, it is the first major internal discovery since the 19th century. The void's purpose and contents remain unknown. In the transmitter model, it may serve as a coupled resonance chamber paired with the Grand Gallery.
